Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions about QT33 for MSEDCL-style substations: web vs Android, internet, backups, PDF export, official disclaimer, ads, and support.
What is QT33?
QT33 is independent software for 33 KV substation daily records: DLR, interruptions, battery, faults, maintenance, charge handover, and monthly reports. It is designed around real utility registers used in Maharashtra and similar DISCOM workflows.
Who can use QT33?
Substation operators, shift in-charges, and admins assigned by your organization. Connected mode requires an admin-created account. Offline Android can be used by a single operator without cloud login.
What is the difference between Web, Connected Android, and Offline Android?
The web workspace runs in a browser with multi-user sync. Connected Android uses the same cloud account and data. Offline Android stores everything locally on one device without Firebase login for daily entry.
Is internet required?
Connected web and Connected Android need internet for sign-in and sync. Offline Android works without internet after installation. You may cache some web pages in the browser, but operational sync needs connectivity.
Where is my data stored?
Connected mode: authentication via Firebase; operational records and profiles in Supabase as described in the Privacy Policy. Offline mode: local database on the device until you export or clear storage.
How do I export PDF reports?
Open Report Center, choose month and report type, preview the layout, then use Print or Export PDF from the report actions. Ensure masters and the report footer are configured first.
How do I take a backup?
Offline Android: use Export Backup in app settings and save the file safely. Connected: follow admin export tools if enabled; rely on cloud sync plus organizational backup policy.
How do I restore or import data?
Offline: use Import Backup and select a file you exported earlier. Verify record counts after import. Connected imports are admin-controlled—contact your substation admin before merging files.
What happens if I uninstall the app?
Offline: local data is removed unless you exported a backup first. Connected: cloud data remains; reinstall and sign in to sync again. Always export before uninstalling.
Is login required?
Yes for connected web and Connected Android. No for daily entry in Offline Android (single-user local profile). Public website pages do not require login.
Is QT33 official MSEDCL software?
No. QT33 is an independent digital record management tool. It is not published, endorsed, or maintained by MSEDCL or any utility unless your department formally approves it in writing. Official registers and approvals remain per your circle orders.
How do I contact support?
Email [email protected] with username, substation name, module name, and screenshots if possible. Use the Contact page for privacy or account deletion questions.
How do I delete my connected account?
After login, open Session → Delete My Account, type DELETE, and confirm. Admins can also remove users from User Management. See Delete account information on this site.
Are advertisements shown inside the workspace?
No. Google AdSense, when enabled, may appear only on public informational pages such as About or guides—not on login, /app, dashboards, data-entry forms, modals, or print layouts.
Does QT33 sell my operational data?
No sale of personal operational data for ads. Ad partners may use cookies on public pages per the Privacy Policy. Operational records stay in your tenant (cloud) or on your device (offline).
Can I use QT33 without assigning a substation?
Operators need an assigned substation in connected mode to enter data. Admins configure assignment during user setup.
Why do feeder names look wrong in reports?
Usually masters were updated after entries were saved, or the wrong substation is selected. Fix masters, then correct entries on the affected operational dates before regenerating reports.
Can multiple operators edit the same date?
In connected mode, yes—with role permissions. Coordinate by shift to avoid duplicate interruptions. Use handover notes to communicate pending edits.
Is QT33 free?
Product licensing depends on deployment arranged with your organization or the publisher. Public website access to guides is free; workspace access requires credentials.
What browsers are supported?
Recent Chrome, Edge, or Firefox on desktop and Android. Enable JavaScript. For best results use a stable connection when saving in connected mode.
Where is the Privacy Policy?
Read https://qt33.in/privacy-policy for data categories, retention, Firebase/Supabase roles, and account deletion.
Who is responsible for data accuracy?
Operators and authorized admins entering data are responsible for accuracy. QT33 validates formats but cannot judge engineering correctness of readings.
